Whether we’ve been buyer or seller, residential property transactions are never really fun. As our lead, Jason was the consummate professional. He is extremely knowledgeable on precisely what’s happening in the marketplace week to week, month to month. He was unwavering in his conviction and clear in his communication. We’ve had so many realtors over the years that will not take a stand on what you should be doing. Lots of “oh you never know what people will pay,” and other wish washy nonsense.

Sometimes I want to say to most realtors - “goodness sakes, it’s our house, but it’s your business, have an opinion on what we should do - and why. You don’t get the commission for walk a through - you get it for strategy, patience and sound advice.”

Jason was steely in his guidance and as a result we as sellers had a fair result, and the buyers were exactly the right profile for our home and likewise had a fair result. We were delighted the buying family got our house. It never felt forced, rather just right.

Jason Barry Estates does the usual high-end marketing materials, videos, updates, and showings that didn’t waste our time. And I’ve always hated showings. Yet they were specific in times, in-out and onward.

One thing though that what was really quite clever was when Maserati of San  Diego wanted to do a glam photo shoot and host an all day party for well heeled clients at which they could show cars at a high-end home. Jason asked if we would host, and we agreed. While the buyers of our home did not come from that event, it was a classy affair where over the course of the day 100s of people enjoyed coffee and wine in our yard and on the veranda. This speaks to Jason’s willingness to go above and beyond to gain exposure for their clients property.

Honestly, I’d rather root canal than buy or sell residential real estate. But I believe the end result of our transaction was warm and fuzzy for both parties and we would choose Jason’s team again without hesitation. 10/10.

I first met Ryan when we were selling our home. My first impression was that he not only had done his homework about my home, but that he truly understood our family and wanted to sell it for us. When the deal was done, and I had now spent more time with Ryan, there was no doubt that he was the one that was going to find us our new home. When he met me at the driveway to give me the keys I really feel he was as happy for us as I was. I not only got a house, but my family also got a new friend.
