Nationwide Housing Outlook for 2016

By the looks of it, California could be the hottest market this upcoming 2016 year.

Based off of Realtor.com’s top 10 list for hottest markets in the nation for the month of October, 8 of 10 of those markets were in California.

Denver, CO (related coverage)
San Jose, CA
San Francisco, CA
Dallas, TX (related coverage)
Vallejo, CA
San Diego, CA
Sacramento, CA
Santa Rosa, CA
Yuba City, CA
Los Angeles, CA
This list is comprised by the number of views and time on the market. In translation, a person selling their home in any of the following cities is in a better position to sell than anywhere else.

Due to the way inventory has been in California and where it is predicted going, it wouldn’t be surprising to see California dominate this list again in 2016. The diversity of real estate California brings is truly evident in cities such as ours, San Diego, especially in markets such as the Rancho Santa Fe Real Estate market which recently cracked the annual Wall Street Journal top 50 list of most expensive zip codes in the nation.

As always, it is hard to predict what any market will do, but based on how things are going it is possible San Diego and other California cities will continue to stay hot going into 2016.
